"Wonderful restaurant with amazing atmosphere and exceptional wine and food. We loved the local flavors and the warm reception. Truly enjoyable evening, and the owner was also kind enough to provide recommendations for a great oyster place to visit on the coast. Thank you!"

"An authentic and heartfelt dining experience. We were four at the table and ended up ordering all the dishes on the menu, every single one was excellent. The plates are honest and full of character, made with truly high-quality products that you can taste in every bite. The wine list is very well curated and perfectly complements the food, without ever taking focus away from the cuisine. You immediately feel at home: the owner is genuinely welcoming, available, and passionate. And the lady cooking in the kitchen truly has golden hands. her cooking is generous, precise, and deeply comforting. A real restaurant where food comes first. Highly recommended."

"A gem! 'Tucked' away in the vibrant restaurant district in the centre of Bordeaux , Soif is a real find! A small dining area that opens on to the street with an understated but genuine ambiance. A simple menu of fresh seasonal produce, well prepared & presented - 'good food done right'! A particular mention to our host who expertly guided us through the evening and recommended some very drinkable bio wines - really lovely. No qualms in giving Soif a 'thumbs up' recommendation."

"Was recommended to try out this place by another restaurant which I had a wonderful experience. This place is run by just 2 people, husband and wife, very simple and cosy restaurant. Dishes are okay, but was abit below my expectations. Starters were abit too light and main dishes were abit too salty. But overall, service is nice and I had a nice time there."

"We went on a friday night. The Food was good, kind of a fixed menu for the day. The wine selections were quite okay..service was good, overall atmosphere felt abit stiff and uptight..it made us abit stress, had a few starters to share, and we had a different main each (i had the mackerel and he had the lamb, both were good). We did not have desserts as it was not what we were looking for.."

"Absolute Gem of a restaurant. Very unassuming and charming place. The menu was so simple and effective. My girlfriend and I had all 3 starters and both mains which was perfect. Amazing that it's just a two man band. Seriously high quality food! The dessert is out of this world. Go go go."
